We’ll be turning it directly into trees and a few building materials for an urgently needed new classroom at Kadenguni Primary School in Coast Province, quite near the last ones we built at Kundeni Primary, also in Boré.
Aside from being a great reason to get our hands on some lovely organic skincare and beauty products and to raise a bit of cash, it was also a perfect excuse to have a good giggle with a few chums and to enjoy delicious vegan pizza and cake too; Helen is our Queen Baker.
The social calendar for our future fundraising events is plumping out slowly and surely and we’ve a nice selection of dates lined up. Hopefully, they’ll raise a bit of money for us and raise awareness of the need for reforestation in Kenya too – every penny really does count with us.
If you’d like to do something amazing to help us put a few pounds in the coffers but need a bit of inspiration for how to do it, click here for a list of all sorts!
If it’s possible for one of us to attend, we will, we can give a short talk too if you wish but if that’s difficult, we can certainly get a few leaflets to you for your audience.
We can publicise it on our events calendar too if that’s helpful.
Thank you again Helen for an absolutely smashing evening – every £2.50 raised plants a legacy and cleans the air that blows all over our planet.
