Clare Nasir and Tony Juniper

Day Three: Wednesday 17th March

Good Morning Tree Lovers, Everywhere!

Hey ho, here we go. It’s Day Three of (a spectacular) Seven in our inaugural Trees Are The Key Awareness Week – it’s nice to see you again.

We’re almost halfway through the week. To be honest, I can’t believe how quickly talking about slowing down is going.

Today’s offering in our news feed is another cracker, but it’s not an article, it’s an interview conducted by our Patron, Clare Nasir. You’ll undoubtedly recognise her from broadcasting the weather on our television screens, but she’s also an author and an accomplished broadcaster, as well as a Met Office meteorologist and a passionate environmentalist.

Clare talks to Tony Juniper, Chairman of Natural England campaigner, writer, sustainability adviser and well-known British environmentalist. The interview has been made exclusively for The Word Forest Organisation and we’re delighted. In it, Tony talks about some of his projects and feelings about trees – don’t miss it.

I hope it sets a great tone for you this morning and that you enjoy the rest of your day. More soon…
