Environmentalists from our charity are excited to be attending the UN global climate change conference, #COP26 in Glasgow, for the first two weeks of November. We will be delivering jargon-free daily updates from the conference and the fringe, to help our supporters and the general public understand the importance of this international climate conference. We are ready to play our part in this critical climate change mission, continuing our work supporting communities to plant and protecting trees in the tropics.
Incidentally, we raised ring-fenced funds to attend – we’ve not used anybody’s donations for tree planting.
We are now literally days away from COP 26 and all too aware of how vital it is at this pivotal time. The Word Forest Organisation is proud to present this short video – a summary of what COP is and why it could and should make a real difference.
