Supporting Word Forest today would help us continue our vital work supporting communities on the front line of climate change with resilience training, women’s empowerment initiatives, and reforestation. Each fruit and nut tree we plant in Kenya, just 3 degrees south of the equator, grows 10 times faster than anywhere else on the planet. Trees are the key to mitigating climate chaos, helping to reduce food poverty, empowering local communities, and cleaning the air we breathe all over the world.

Donate Today

Every donation makes a tremendous difference

Plant Trees

One of our workers tending saplings

£5 per month

… could plant two fruit and trees in the topics. Grown in our nursery, nurtured by our Kenyan team, in a few short years the trees will harvest CO2 and produce bountiful crops.

Women's Empowerment

Some of our Garashi Mothers of the Forest

£30 per month

… could support three women in our Mothers of the Forest empowerment group for a month, with fortnightly meetings and lunch, saplings, a stipend, and community support.

Facilitate Education

Eva teaching cutting propagation

£12 per month

… could pay for a place on a course at our Permaculture Training Centre, in either tree husbandry, permaculture or income generation lessons, giving and growing hope.

Build Classrooms

Kenyan children learning in a new classroom

£43 per month

… could supplement our new classroom builds by purchasing a child a desk and chair, which would last way beyond a school year. Strong and sturdy, they last at least a decade.
